Tekken 6's Marshall Law Just Shat Himself
Marshall Law's expression says it all, but I believe this is how it went down. Russian robot girl Alisa was examining the local sheep because she had never seen one before. Law was on a stroll in the countryside, contemplating a new way to make some cash. Alisa began examining a sheep a little too closely and Law, being respectful of all creatures, ran down to rescue it. The fight began, but Law didn't know Alisa was a robot. Her head came off and bounced into his hands during the battle. The body kept moving, the head started talking to him, and now he's better off just throwing out his white pants than attempting to wash them. This is one of the 33 new Tekken 6 screenshots released today, but is easily one of the funniest. I've always loved Tekken's ridiculousness and the addition of an android that can use Gundam-style boosters and beheads herself during attacks is simply fantastic. Come to think of it, with all the customization that will be in the game, I wonder if you can add certain characters' items to other characters. I would love to put Alisa's boosters on the bears, Panda and Kuma. Besides the wealth of screenshots, it was announced that Penny Arcade's Cardboard Tube Samurai is a downloadable skin for Yoshimitsu, as I though it would be. Personally, I'm not as into Cardboard Tube Samurai as other fans are, but It's cool that the Penny Arcade duo have a character in a major fighting game like Tekken. The skin will be a GameStop pre-order exclusive (along with a calendar), but I would expect it to be downloadable en masse months later. There will also be a Limited Edition Tekken 6 bundle that include a wireless Hori stick and an art book. Tempting. This second picture isn't nearly as funny as the first, but it allows us to wrap this up.
Law realized that Alisa was merely an unlearned android, but his pants took precedence so he hastily returned her head to her body. Later, after Law had new pants, they became the best of friends and now earn money performing a robot/sheep/spinning plates variety bit with Paul Phoenix and his motorcycle. - Shawn - 6/22/09 |
