Cell phone straps have been hanging from the phones of pre-teen girls, teen girls, and probably girls in general for years. I have yet to see a guy with a strap on his phone. If I have, then I've obviously blocked it from my optic memory banks because it would have killed me a little on the inside. However, these Street Fighter IV cell phone straps are things that I can see a dude having with him (via Capcom-Unity). Maybe it wouldn't strapped on his phone, but any fighting game nerd would be ever ready and willing to whip it out for a mock battle. Made by Strapya, these Street Fighter IV voice straps are shaped like tiny joysticks and say the phrases from the game when you perform special moves. The funny thing is, if you can't do the move in the game, how will you be able to do it on this thing? Maybe it'll be good for practice while sitting on the toilet. Just imagine you're in the stall next to this guy and you keep hearing "Ha-Do-Ken!" every time he drops one. Sadly, yet hilariously, I can see this actually happening where I work. It looks like they have Ryu, Ken, Dhalsim, and Chun Li up for pre-order now and I'm sure they have more on the way. In the meantime, I'll be amused the first time I see someone stumble on this page using the search term "Street Fighter IV strap on." Also horrified. Here's a video of these things in action:
