Akuma HD Remix

"I'm 42 and I'm in better crazed demon fighter shape than I was at 22. Shoush!"

Capcom is tempting our Street Fighter tooth a little more by releasing another character image from Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix. This time they let fans take a look at three images of the series' demon-powered badass, Akuma. The fist image is a comparison shot of the original Akuma sprite with the new HD Akuma. From the looks of it Akuma has been hitting up the Bowflex at least 20 minutes a day. He is bigger and insanely buffer than before. The other images at Capcom USA show Akuma in the middle of doing a Hurricane Kick and his little Shoush stance (or teleport trick, whatever you want to call it).

At Capcom USA's official bloggity-blog, where they release the fine HD Remix shots, is a pseudo-vote on which character should be shown next. From the posts I'm betting it will be Chun-Li or Cammy. The fans love their Capcom women.

So it seems that Capcom will be teasing us with images each week until they finally release a gameplay video or the actual game. What happens when they run out of character shots? Well that's when they show us backgrounds. Or maybe just background elements, like the Chinese man molesting the chicken on Chun-Li's stage. I'm also very interested in seeing what kind of car we get to beat down for no reason in the bonus round.
