SDCC '11: Rocket Raccoon and Other Marvel Universe
Heroes
The Marvel Universe figures will be entering a
new level of awesome bad-assery because come this November, Rocket Raccoon will have his own
action
figure. He's a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy pack which also
includes his long-time battle companion Groot, Star-Lord, and Drax the
Destroyer. Rocket Raccoon doesn't look too articulated, maybe at his arms
and head, but it hardly matters because it's a damn rocket Raccoon figure. And
Groot! Truly, this will be the best Marvel Universe figure pack of all time.

Rocket Raccoon is such a
bad-ass. |
The whole Guardians of the
Galaxy team is awesome. Although, Groot should be placed by Rocket, not
Star-Lord. |
There are a bunch of other new Marvel Universe
figures coming out, too, but sometimes its a little difficult to know when the
new ones are actually coming out. It usually takes awhile for me to see the new
figures at retail, if I ever do. There are a few figures that have been out for
months that I've never seen in a store because they get swooped up so fast. I'm
sure it'll be a year before I ever see Psylocke not just at dealers booths at
conventions. Maybe even Dr. Doom, too, because I still have yet to see Thanos or
Apocalypse.

Are all of these out now? I
don't know, I've only ever seen that First Appearance Wolverine. |
Finally, a Psylocke Marvel
Universe figure. |
 |
 |
|
Doom! |
It's Beast as a cat. |
 |
 |
|
Iron Fist's costume is a
little flashy. |
Beta Ray Bill, Patriot, and
Absorbing Man are coming soon, if their not out already. |
 |
 |
|
That X-Force set is cool,
but it needs Domino. There's also a Fantastic Four set with H.E.R.B.I.E. who
makes it not fantastic. |
An epic battle of Marvel
heroes and villains. |
 |
 |
|
This is strictly a Marvel
Vs. Marvel fight. No Capcom characters here. |
The Scarlett Spider is
taking on all the Spider-Man villains? No one cares about that guy. |
