A deluge of new Darius Burst screens have... burst upon the internet. Sure, they show off the game in all its still-image awesomicity, but more importantly they give us a better look at the all new, all different Silver Hawk. The new ship seems to be called the Silver Hawk Burst Next, which sounds rather wordy, but it sure is a super sexy space fighter. The more traditional, yet very slightly updated Silver Hawk is the Silver Hawk Burst Legend, which also sounds wordy, but appropriate - the Silver Hawk is legendary. The Darius series has been using generally the same Silver Hawk since the beginning, so the Next is a big deal. I can't wait to try it out with my own thumbs. The screenshots show off both ships fighting two of the new bosses, the Lightning Flamberg and Mirage Castle. Man, I love Darius boss names. The screens also show off the two characters of the game; the scarred gruff guy and the requisite young girl with robo-fox ears.
