Considering Duke Nukem Forever actually took forever to come out, an extra month of waiting won't be so bad.

• Strategic shooter Zoku Susume! Mamore! Tatakae! will be heading to the PSP. You create ships from the mothership and place them to attack enemies.

• Dorkly shows us what happens to the starter Pokemon that don't get chosen.

•  Toro and Kuro will be free DLC for Disgaea 4 in Japan, where they'll be applying for Congress. You have to have already beaten the game to see them, though.

• Hideo Kojima might have two announcements at E3 this year. Yeah, that's about it for now, but you can speculate what he'll be announcing.

• There's a new trailer for Jamestown, the shooter that puts 17th Century soldiers in a bullet-hell shooter on Mars. Epic.

• A number of Hudson's 3DS titles have been cancelled, including Omega Five. That's a shame, Omega Five deserved to be on another system.

• Arrival, possibly last DLC for Mass Effect 2 will, uh, arrive on May 29th. This should bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3.

• Motorstorm: Apocalypse has been delayed everywhere.

• The Darius Burst: Another Chronicle arcade update has been delayed.

• Irem has canceled Disaster Report 4, for obvious reasons.

• There will be a River City Ransom 2 in 2012.

• The live-action trailer for Prey 2 has a jerk on an airplane, a bright light, and an alien.

• Hasbro and Jagex Limited are making a online Transformers game for 2012. Hopefully it won't be the crappy movie designs.

• Yosuke Hayashi, producer of Ninja Gaiden III, said that Ninja Gaiden II and Bayonetta are outdated, which is why NGIII is being made from scratch.

• Toshimichi Hori of Arc System Works said that Guilty Gear players are too old to play fighting games. This is why there is BlazBlue and no more Guilty Gear.

• The Darius Burst: Another Chronicle super ultra ridiculous widescreen arcade machine will be getting an update. The Unlock A update adds over 500 new areas, new areas for the Second Silver Hawk, and new bosses. I wonder if this will ever see release on a home console. It certainly needs one.

• It's Meowvel Vs. Catcom 3 by suzuran on Deviant Art. Too cute. Too awesome.

• The creator of Shenmue, Yu Suzuki, describes the incredible and hilarious events of how Shenmue was meant to end. It's even better that he says it all with a straight face.

• Chair Entertainment's Donald Mustard stated that another Shadow Complex isn't a matter of if, but when. That's great news.

• Epic's next-gen Unreal Engine 3 video is now online, well an official one from Epic, not the leaked one that was already online.

• Moonshot Games' (the developer of ex-Bungie employees) first game is 2D action platformer Fallen Frontier. Sounds like there's a little Halo in the music.

• Did you know the Capcom logo uses the same font as the answers on Jeopardy? Amazing.

• The Darkness II will unsurprisingly have a prequel comic, however, it will be free since the comic will be a part of Free Comic Book Day on May 7th. Afterwards it will probably be fetching some cash on eBay.

• DrunkNES is a breathalyzer made from a an NES cartridge and is just genius.

• Ignition Entertainment tried to localize Blood of Bahamut for the DS to North America, but Square Enix doesn't seem to want to release it anywhere else. Well that sucks.

• East Asia Soft's next title will be a strategy RPG called Rainbow Moon. I enjoyed the Söldner-X games so I'm looking forward to what they do for this.

• Record of Agarest War Zero will have a Limited Edition, but it won't have a booby mouse pad or suggestive box art. What it does include a deck of playing cards, a deck of skill cards, a character guide, a soundtrack, and a lovely blue box.

• Batman: Arkham City will be out on October 18th.

• Mortal Kombat will have a Challenge Tower consisting of 300 missions. This type of thing is nothing new to fighting games, however, the Challenge Tower is a little different because it'll include fights with modifiers (like having no arms), mini games like Test Your Might, Test Your Sight, Test Your Strike, and Test Your Luck, and just general ridiculousness. In one mission Mileena made a teddy bear for Scorpion, but Scorpion doesn't want it. So they fight. Yep, ridiculous and somehow awesome.

• Half Minute Hero is expanding its console appearances beyond the PSP, which is only good for everyone. Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Edition should be hitting Xbox Live at some point this year.

• Some characters that Ryota Niitsuma wanted to put in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, but couldn't: Rival Schools characters, Zangief, more Darkstalkers, another Mega Man character, Venom, and Gambit. Maybe if there's a MVC4 those characters might be in it. Also, this is what Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is like with MVC2 music.

• The Gears of War 3 beta begins on April 18th, for those of you who bought Bulletstorm: Epic Edition. For everyone else, the beta starts on April 25th. There are lots of nifty unlockables to get during the beta and if you want them all you'll be playing a lot.

• Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection's interlude is 15 hours long. That's pretty damn good for an interlude.

• Catherine is coming to North America and there's a US debut trailer just for us.

• In the latest Iwata Asks, this time about Steel Diver, Shigeru Miyamoto said he was mortified when Capcom released Steel Battalion with its massive controller because it was something he had wanted to do.

• Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 is in early development... wait, shouldn't it be almost done by now? It's gonna be a long time before we get to play more of this game. Episode 2 will fix some issues from Episode 1 and will have brand new stages.

• Game Gear and TurboGrafx-16 games will be downloadable for the 3DS, which is more tempting to me than the 3D-ness.

• The first run of Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition will have "collectible" 3D packaging.

• Despite being universally loved, there are no plans for a Donkey Kong Country Returns sequel.

• It was Street Fighter II's 20th birthday during the week. Man, I'm old.
