Metal Gear Rex by threeA Toys Makes You "!" The "Kojima Productions X threeA = !" teaser line is exactly right, because an exclamation point instantly appeared over my head when I saw pictures of this incredible Metal Gear Rex toy. Actually no, it wouldn't be fair to call this a toy; this is a freaking masterpiece. threeA toys is artist supreme Ashley Wood's toy company, which has made many of his robots and characters into toys and statues. It makes sense that threeA is making a Metal Gear Rex since Wood did all the art for the Metal Gear Solid comics. These photos of Metal Gear Rex were found by a member of ToyArk.com and there is a solitary photo on threeA's production blog as confirmation. There are absolutely no details on Rex right now, but comparative speculation speculates that Rex might be 15"-17-inches tall and might be in the $300-400 price range. There's no doubt in my mind that this will be expensive, but this may just be worth it. Rex could show up at either Sideshow Collectibles or Bambaland, threeA's own store.
