McFarlane Toys' Warthog Looks as Expected: Awesome

One of the main things I was hoping to see out of Toy fair 2010 was McFarlane Toys' in-scale Warthog and a photo finally arrived today. The Warthog probably looks exactly as everyone expected (since we already know what a Warthog looks like), but it's still awesome to finally see it. Man, I can't wait to have my Spartans in this thing. Along with Warthog, the packaging prototypes for an in-scale Ghost and the Halo: Reach figures were also on display. The Ghost will include a Grunt (with a helmet!) and I'm sure the Warthog will have at least one figure included with it. At least eight figures in the series and I'll bet that the Spartan with the skull paint will be one of the most popular ones. The figures and vehicles will be out tin the Fall. There are no prices announced for the vehicles yet, but considering that the Mongoose was $20, I'd say a fair estimate would put the Ghost around the same with the Warthog around $40 - 50. Go to Kotaku to check out the packaging prototypes with cardboard cutout Spartans.

The Warthog is ready to be vroomed around the Toy Fair floor.
