Halo 3 Series One Feature Now Live
Spawn.com's Valentine's Day present to Halo fans was their Halo 3 Series One feature going live. Spawn.com has features for all their action figure lines, so this is standard procedure for them. There are six main sections of the feature, the most intriguing being the Halo Points section. Apparently every figure will have a specific number of Halo Points and later this month we'll get to see what the points are for. I'm betting it's yet another Spartan color / armor variation. The feature's first three main sections are divided by campaign figures, multiplayer figures, and vehicles. Campaign is where you'll find all the figures of characters and Covenant forces that appear in the campaign mode of the game such as Master Chief, Cortana, the Brute Chieftain, Jackal Sniper, and the grunts. Multiplayer is where you'll find all the armor and color variations of the Spartans. Vehicles is for the vehicles, which should be obvious. Upon clicking a figure you'll be presented with info about that character, photos of the figure, the packaging, a QuickTime VR 3D look at the figure, and the specs which contain the exact size, accessories and Halo Point value. The feature also has some nice downloadable wallpapers of each figure and vehicle. Printable backdrops are ready for those super action scenes you plan on making with your figures. What may be the most valuable download, however, is the Series One checklist. With all the exclusives and color variations a checklist is something invaluable for the collector that plans on acquiring everything. There is also a Where to Buy section listing the top ten stores / online retailers you can purchase the figures from. For some reason they are divided by figures and vehicles and each list has some different stores, which I'm guessing means you may not be able to get the vehicles in the samr store you get the figures. It seems a little odd to me. You can also see the results of Team McFarlane versus Team Bungie in a recent Humpday Challenge by Bungie. Team McFarlane got annhilated.
