McFarlane Halo 3 Controller Art The step-by-step art for the new Xbox 360 Halo 3 controllers was released on Spawn.com and G4TV.com. The controller images have been on the web for awhile, but now we finally get to see not only the full artwork, but the process of it. Both pieces of art were designed by Todd McFarlane and Greg Capullo. The Brute controller art comes from Spawn.com while the Spartan controller art is exclusive to G4TV.com. How nice of McFarlane to give G4 another exclusive. G4 must have been good lately, except that G4's pics are three different sizes while Spawn.com's were all a consistent size. Thanks again for your inconsistency, G4. It's very cool that McFarlane is letting us view the full art without all those pesky analog sticks and obnoxiously bright buttons in the way. The controllers should be out any day now, if they're not out already. Both wireless controllers will retail for $59.99 and each will come with an exclusive Master Chief figurine. Ten extra bills for the figurine alone is worth it, but I haven't actually seen them on store shelves yet. The two controllers went though four main phases of design: the sketch, rough layout, inking and coloring. Click on the images for bigger versions of the art.
