Hasbro's SDCC '11 Exclusives Get an Image Update
Hasbro has sent out new images of their
mostly awesome SDCC 2011 exclusives. There aren't a whole lot of new details,
such as price, so this is mostly just a photo update.
G.I. Joe and the Transformers Starscream Skystriker
and Cobra Commander (with Megatron in gun mode)
The box is made to look
like the "what if" 5th issue in the G.I. Joe and the Transformers
series. This awesome set will be around $50. |
Starscream doesn't
transform, but it's still the coolest SDCC exclusive. |
What good is a holster
located at Cobra Commander's shin? |
G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary style Zarana
Zarana will be available in
her classic colors... |
...and her rockin' Cold Slither
attire. |
Star Wars Revenge of the Jedi Death Star
Vintage figure set
This is a nice round box, but
it seems like carrying this would be too unwieldy. |
Do you really want to buy
the same figures again? Yes, the Revenge of the Jedi packaging is
cool, but think about
it carefully. |
Transformers Prime Optimus Prime
Zero.
How many people are
actually going to wear this around their necks? One is too many. |
In case you couldn't figure
it out,
this is Optimus in his truck mode in Transformers Prime. |
Transformers: Dark of the Moon Ultimate Optimus
Prime
This is the same Ultimate
Optimus Prime sold in stores, but the SDCC version is packaged in vehicle mode.
So, you're basically paying for that. |
Marvel Universe 18" Sentinel
The SDCC version is on a
huge card. The one in stores will be in a box and may include an additional
figure. |
The carded Sentinel still
comes in a box. |
Mini Muggs Avengers set
The
regular sized Giant Man bustin' out of his box is just brilliant packaging. |
Mighty Muggs Spider-man/Peter Parker
Is this the first Mighty
Mugg with a removable mask? I think it might be. |
My Little Pony
Is this My Little Pony a
super-villain? Goth? I can't tell. |
