Darius Points its Silverhawks to the sky and BURSTS Towards the PSP Heavens

Ever since shooters have been finding new life on the current gen consoles, mostly thanks to XBLA and PSN, I've been wondering when Darius would make its triumphant comeback. Now is the time, as Famitsu has revealed that the newest chapter in the awesome and sometimes quirky Darius saga will be Darius Burst (via SiliconEra). Since it's on the PSP it's not exactly the return I was hoping for, however, Darius has been one of my favorite shooter series since I was a small lad who stood in awe of the arcade versions' super widescreen monitors and I'm overjoyed to see it continue in this age. The Darius games are quite unique with their signature giant fish-ship bosses and choose your own adventure style stages and because of that I've played through the games countless times. You know, I may have to play through my Darius games again. And bonus points for you if you know the altered quote and what it's from that I used for the title of this article.
