An AT-ST Made for Two I don't nearly pay as much attention to Star Wars figures as I used to. Case in point: the new and improved AT-ST. You see, this was at San Diego Comic-con a couple months back, where I was snapping photos and looking at cool new figures. I was at the Hasbro booth a few times during the 'con and I even looked at the Star Wars figures they had on display, yet I do not remember seeing this remarkable piece of awesome. It is very possible that I did see it at the Hasbro booth, but I probably just thought it was yet another repaint of the same mold that Hasbro has re-released time and again. The AT-ST is my favorite Star Wars vehicle because it holds a special place in my heart. My grandpa bought me the 1983 Return of the Jedi release of it as a birthday present for me one year, a long time ago in my single-digit age days. It quickly became one of my most cherished toys and I still have all the pieces to it. The new AT-ST is much larger than the original, as it has room for two figures sitting side-by-side along with opening view ports, an alternate chin gun, and is much more articulated than the original mold. It's not quite to scale, but close enough, especially for the low $40 price point. This is going to be a Wal-Mart exclusive in October. Since the closest Wal-Mart is about a 40 minute drive from my current living quarters, I'll have to make a special trip in a month.
